Stray is perhaps one of the most anticipated PlayStation Console exclusives. It was targeting a launch in early 2022 but has received a delay.
The official Twitter account of PlayStation has shared a new promotional video for PlayStation exclusive Indies and Stray can be seen with a new release window of Summer 2022. This was never communicated officially but just like Little Devil Inside, that could have been a silent delay from early 2022 to Summer 2022.
In addition to this, other PlayStation Exclusive Indies have also received a release window including We Are OFK for Summer 2022, and Cult of the Lamb for Fall 2022.
The game was also recently rated in Australia suggesting that we are looking at an official announcement regarding the release date soon.
Here is some information on Stray taken from the official PlayStation website.
Lost, alone and separated from family, a stray cat must untangle an ancient mystery to escape a long-forgotten cybercity and find the way home.
Stray is a third-person cat adventure game set amidst the detailed neon-lit alleys of a decaying cybercity and the murky environments of its seedy underbelly. See the world through the eyes of a stray and interact with the environment in playful ways.
Stray is developed by BlueTwelve Studio, a small team from south of France mostly made of cats and a handful of humans.
The game will be available for PC, PS4, and PS5 and launch in Summer 2022. It is being published by Annapurna Interactive.
