Take-Two Interactive has shared updated lifetime sales figures for many of its biggest gaming franchises, highlighting the enormous scale of properties like Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption, NBA 2K, Borderlands, and Civilization.

The latest numbers were revealed as part of the company’s recent investor presentation and further demonstrate how heavily Take-Two relies on a handful of blockbuster franchises across console, PC, and mobile.

Grand Theft Auto remains the publisher’s largest franchise by a considerable margin. According to the report, the series has now sold-in more than 470 million units worldwide, with Grand Theft Auto V alone accounting for nearly 230 million copies sold globally. The game continues to rank among the best-selling entertainment products ever released more than a decade after launch.

The Red Dead Redemption franchise has also reached major milestones. Take-Two revealed that the series has sold nearly 115 million units worldwide, while Red Dead Redemption 2 alone has surpassed 85 million copies sold.

NBA 2K continues to be another cornerstone of the publisher’s business. The company stated that the basketball franchise has sold-in nearly 173 million units globally and described NBA 2K as the world’s best-selling basketball simulation franchise in both unit sales and revenue.

Borderlands has now crossed 100 million units sold worldwide, according to the presentation. Take-Two additionally confirmed that Borderlands 2 remains the best-selling entry in the franchise with more than 31 million copies sold.

The Civilization strategy series also posted strong numbers, with lifetime sales surpassing 80 million units globally. Take-Two further noted that Civilization VII accumulated 1.9 million wishlists before release, ranking fourth globally on Steam at the time.

The updated figures underline how many of the industry’s biggest gaming properties now sit under the Take-Two umbrella. While Grand Theft Auto remains the company’s primary commercial driver, franchises such as NBA 2K, Red Dead Redemption, Borderlands, and Civilization continue generating substantial revenue through sequels, expansions, online services, and recurrent consumer spending.
