Bandai Namco has released the first gameplay trailer for Bob, offering a closer look at the returning fighter ahead of his arrival in Tekken 8 later this summer.
The trailer debuted during EVO 2026 and showcases Robert “Bob” Richards’ return to the roster as part of Season 3. Bob is scheduled to join the game on August 19, 2026, making him the second downloadable character in the current season following Kunimitsu.
The gameplay footage highlights Bob’s trademark freestyle karate style, combining his heavyweight build with the fast, agile movement that has defined the character since his debut. The trailer also introduces a refreshed presentation, featuring a fast-food-themed aesthetic and a skateboard entrance animation.
Bob is one of four characters planned for Tekken 8’s Season 3 content. Following his release, Bandai Namco will add Roger Jr. and guest character Yujiro Hanma to complete the pass.
Tekken 8 is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
