The Last of Us Remastered has been updated to version 1.11 ahead of the launch of the PS5. This update has a small file size and simple patch notes.
Naughty Dog has updated The Last of Us Remastered to version 1.11 on the PS4. This update appears to follow a trend where the old PS4 games are getting a patch, presumably for supporting backward compatibility on the PS5.
The file size of this new update is just under 500 MB and it is available to download now on PS4. This patch will update the game to version 1.11 as seen on the PS4 dashboard. (Update: This also includes the Left Behind standalone version which was patched to version 1.05.)
As far as we can see through the changelog, there appears to be no major bug fix listed in this update. It only mentions miscellaneous bug fixes so we can’t really expect to see any details here.
However, one popular modder who has access to tools that can help data mine PS4 games has revealed that some of the recent updates have added support for backward compatibility on the PS5. We are not sure what kind of support is a part of this update but regardless, it appears to be in line with other recent PS4 game patches that are releasing even for older games.
