The final trailer for the TV show makes it clear there was a decent budget behind it. This show is also staying closer to the books instead of video games so don’t expect to see similar characters. The series creator is Lauren Schmidt Hissrich and stars Henry Cavill, Freya Allan, Anya Chalotra, and Jodhi May.
Netflix first shared a teaser trailer for The Witcher series this Summer. They have been promoting it for a while now. There was a release date leaked for the show that was later confirmed to be a mistake by Netflix. It might not be a part of their lineup for November but it is going to make a big splash in December.
The final trailer for Netflix’s The Witcher series confirms a release date for December 20, 2019. Fans of the video games based on the book should still get some enjoyment out of it as some aspects of the shows are clearly inspired by the video game. One such example is the bathtub scene that is quite famous from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
