Cyberpunk 2077 is a buggy mess with performance issues on the PS4 and Xbox One, and this has prompted Microsoft to put a warning on their digital store.
It has been a rocky few days for CD Projekt Red. They had to face issues with refunds, had the game delisted by Sony from their PlayStation Store, and also faced criticism over the shoddy launch which led to their stock dropping by a lot.
While Sony has delisted the game until the major issues are fixed for it, Microsoft has opted to keep it on their digital store. What they have done instead is add a warning, as seen below.
This warning simply reads: “Users may experience performance issues when playing this game on Xbox One consoles until this game is updated.”
Honestly, this is a tame way to deal with the mess, but again understandable knowing how Microsoft had a marketing deal with CD Projekt Red. To give them some credit, they are also offering full refunds for the game, however, a wise move right now would be to delist it until updates make it less prone to errors or issues that could lead to the console crashing itself.

The game is currently expected to get two major patches in January and February respectively. It has recently been updated to version 1.05 so if you were facing some issues, we recommend checking out the Cyberpunk 2077 update 1.05 patch notes of this update to see if they were resolved. If you are playing the game on PC, there is a game-breaking bug that can potentially wipe out complete save data.
