Project Resistance has received a new trailer recently after the teaser was shared by Capcom. It is now confirmed to be a 4 vs. 1 multiplayer game set in the Resident Evil universe.
Project Resistance was first teased by Capcom as part of a beta testing phase that was going to be held for fans who had registered themselves as Resident Evil Ambassadors. The game was confirmed before Tokyo Game Show 2019 and finally shown with a teaser ahead of the event. It had a gameplay demonstration today along with the full reveal.

Project Resistance will offer the players a multiplayer game where one player will assume the role of a “Mastermind” which controls a faculty. They can drop traps, unleash various monsters like Zombies and Lickers, and finally can take control of Zombies or Mr. X which made its debut in Resident Evil 2.
While this is a new Resident Evil game, it doesn’t seem to follow the traditional formula instead opting to go for a new experience. The reaction around it has been mixed with the fans giving trailer an equal number of dislikes, some are skeptical about this new concept. The engine user here appears similar to Resident Evil 2 Remake so this should look good visually.
