Ubisoft has teased three unannounced games that are in development at the studio. They are planning to release them in Q4, 2019. One of these is likely going to be the long-rumored Watch Dogs 3 while the other is potentially Splinter Cell.
Ubisoft is planning to host their own press conference at the upcoming E3 2019. They will share news on the upcoming games that they have planned to release in the coming months during the press conference later in June. Today, Ubisoft shared an update on their financials and confirmed that they have four games launching later in Q4, 2019. One of these is Ghost Recon Breakpoint but three of them are still unannounced.
Watch Dogs 3 has been rumored for a while now and it is supposedly set in London. In addition to Watch Dogs, Ubisoft is also working on a new Assassin’s Creed game but that is not going to launch this year. The rumors point towards a release in 2020 for the next-generation of consoles.
Splinter Cell was recently teased by one of the creative directors at Ubisoft but he later clarified that it was more of a joke. This is another game that is possibly in development since we have heard a lot of rumors about it by now.
Some other interesting information that was shared by Ubisoft includes the success of Far Cry 5, which is now their best selling game of all time this generation. They have also earned more than 1 billion dollars in revenue for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. Lastly, they have delayed Skulls and Bones and it won’t be shown at E3 2019.
