Biomutant Will Get a Native PS5 and Xbox Series Version

Biomutant will be updated to properly support the current-generation consoles. This was confirmed by the developers in an official FAQ.

Biomutant will support the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X at launch and this version will run on the PS5 and Xbox Series X. However, the developers have also confirmed that they have plans to release a native version for the current-generation consoles, although they can’t share any details on it.

In the official FAQ on the Biomutant website, there is some information on the features that will be available on the PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, PS5, and Xbox Series.

Will there be ultrawide support or a FoV slider?

  • FoV is implemented for PS 4 Pro, Xbox One X, as well as current-gen (PS5 XBSS/X) and PC
  • FoV slider is not available on base console versions
  • Widescreen is supported

Will there be a native version of BIOMUTANT be on the current gen consoles, i.e. PS5 and Xbox Series S/X?

  • Yes, but on May 25, only PC/PS4 and XB1 versions will be released. We will provide more info in due time.

So far, the game is confirmed to run at 1080p at 60 FPS on the PS4 Pro and PS5. It will support dynamic 4K at 60 FPS on the Xbox One X and Xbox Series X.

Biomutant is currently set to launch on May 25, 2021, for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can have a look at its trophies/achievements to find out if you can unlock them.
