Borderlands 3 is set to launch on September 13, 2019. The game will be available to play on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It is the first new mainline Borderlands game to launch on consoles this generation. As a result, there is a lot of anticipation and hype behind the launch of the game.

Gearbox Software has worked on Borderlands 3 for years keeping it a secret from the public, even though it was pretty obvious that they were working on it. They first showed it early this year and have been continuing with promotional material throughout the year in the lead up to the launch.
As the game is now closer to release, Gearbox Software seems to be confident in its quality and has set the review embargo almost four days early. Here’s when the reviews will drop for the game before its launch on September 13.

According to Metacritic, the review embargo for Borderlands 3 is set for September 9th at 7 AM PST. The game will launch four days after this embargo. This has been the standard for most of the games that have been released this generation. If the developer is confident in the quality of their product, they usually set an early embargo.
