Death Stranding is a very long game and there is a lot to do in it including side missions. As an added replay value, is there a new game plus mode?
Death Stranding is a huge game. It will take more than 50 hours to beat it and players can find plenty of exciting secrets in the open world. Those who wish to use some of the upgrades and items for a replay would like to know if there is a new game plus mode for this purpose.
In the previous games published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, there was no new game plus mode available at launch but all of them received it with an update later down the line.
Sadly, it doesn’t appear to be the case that Death Stranding has a new game plus mode available at launch. It doesn’t mean you should lose hope of getting it in the future. As explained before, players can enjoy a new game plus with a future update just like it has happened with Days Gone, God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, and other recent Sony published games.
There is no way to replay any of the 14 episodes in Death Stranding. You will have to start the game from scratch and the reason is simple, no single playthrough is going to be the same due to the world evolving as part of the social system in the game. It still doesn’t mean such a mode can’t be added to the game with a post-launch update.
Death Stranding will be available on November 8, 2019, for PS4. It will also arrive on PC in Summer 2020.
