The DLC characters set to be added to Bandai Namco Entertainment and Spike Chunsoft’s fighting game, Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO, may have been revealed.
A datamine of the Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO game files has revealed hints regarding the arrival of some of the future DLC characters fans can expect to see in the game. While developer Spike Chunsoft removed any references to the upcoming Super Hero and Daima DLC, there are leftover characters IDs and names from cut content that are still present in the base game data.
Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO Leaked DLC Character Lineup
The screenshot below contains internal character names, with some that are didn’t make their way into the final base game roster, suggesting that they may be included in future DLC.
Some alternate forms i.e. Great Saiyaman 2, Kibito Kai, Super 17 and the other Shadow Dragons, are also mentioned under the base game roster. It appears that every missing veteran character from Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 was planned to be included in Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO, and will likely be added eventually via DLC.
Furthermore, there is strong evidence that Great Ape Goku and SSJ1 Caulifla were scrapped as transformations along with base forms for Garlic Jr., Frost, Ribrianne, Kakunsa and Roasie. The versions of the aforementioned characters that are present on the Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO character roster are internally treated as first transformations rather than base.
According to the dataminer, there could be more leftovers that they missed out during their examination of the Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO game files, though they found no gaps in the ID numbering.
