EA Sports FC 25 Update 1.018 Brings Gameplay Fixes and UI Improvements

EA Sports has released Title Update #11 for EA Sports FC 25, now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The update addresses several gameplay issues, UI inconsistencies, and bugs across various modes, including Ultimate Team, Career Mode, and Clubs. The Nintendo Switch version will receive the update at a later date.

EA Sports FC 25 Update 1.018 Full Patch Notes

Ultimate Team

  • Fixed an issue where Minimum and Maximum price adjustments could not be made when listing items on the Transfer Market.
  • Resolved instances of missing UI elements and inconsistent formatting in the Ultimate Team interface.

Gameplay

  • Improved Ground Pass accuracy when the passer and receiver are not under defensive pressure.
  • Fixed an issue where the ball carrier unintentionally slowed down when turning during a dribble while sprinting.
  • Addressed a bug where player switching did not always occur if the passing animation was interrupted.
  • Fixed a rare issue where players continuously committed unintended Professional Fouls.

Clubs

  • Resolved an issue where the match intro displayed the same team name and abbreviation for all players.
  • Fixed an issue where the Team Tactics button callout did not function correctly on the Team Tactics screen.

Career Mode

  • Fixed incorrect fixture scheduling for some competitions when using Live Start Points.
  • Addressed incorrect competition results and standings displaying on the last day of the season.
  • Resolved an issue where completed Manager Career tasks remained active in the Task List.
  • Fixed a bug where an incorrect placeholder team appeared in Club Transfers.
  • Addressed a stability issue that could occur when simulating matches from the Central Hub.

General, Audio, and Visual

  • Updated assets including badges, balls, banners, flags, cameras, scarves, stadiums, tifos, trophies, celebrations, hairstyles, and kits.
  • Fixed various stability issues and instances of missing or placeholder text.

Released on September 27, 2024, EA Sports FC 25 is the second entry in the EA Sports FC series and the 32nd overall installment in EA Sports’ football simulation franchise. It is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
