Update: It appears that the 4 bonus Epic Games giveaways of this year have been cancelled, as per the leaker.

Original Story: Epic Games Store Mega Sale for the year 2023 is reportedly on the way, and it’s bringing back the free games vault with a total of 8 free titles.

Twitter user BillbilKun, who is well-known for leaking games that are scheduled to be added to a variety of game subscription services, had previously revealed that the 2023 Epic Games Store Mega Sale is on the way and that the free games vault will be making a return. They have now confirmed that the vault will bring a total of 8 giveaways this year, instead of the usual 4, and everyone with an Epic Games account will be able to redeem them.

According to the leaker, the sale will be live during the period of May 18, 2023 and June 15, 2023. It is said to go live at 3 PM UTC, which is also when the first 2 free games will be available to redeem.

  • Free games
  • 25% discount coupon for games priced above $14.99

For now, Epic Games Store users can enjoy May, 2023’s lineup of free games. The store offers plenty of free games during every month and even has sales promotions that are available during the holidays, such as the Christmas giveaway last year.
