How To Fix Low CPU Usage In Spider-Man Remastered

Spider-Man Remastered is rather heavy on CPU requirements, and, as a result, low CPU usage indicates that something is wrong. As it turns out, the fix is rather easy and merely requires you to pay a visit to your PC’s BIOS. The simplest method is to reboot the computer and press a specific key. Depending on your PC’s chipset, this may be the F10, F12, or Delete key. Alternatively, you can also enter the BIOS via the system settings on both Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Once you have entered the BIOS, you’ll need to look for the Processor label, as it may be located within one of the sub-menus. Once found, highlight it and hit the Enter key to access the Processor menu. In the Processor menu, choose Properties and look for the setting to turn hyperthreading On or Off. It is likely turned On by default, and this is the setting you’ll need to modify in order to fix low CPU usage in Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PC.

Once hyperthreading has been disabled, head back to the main menu and select the option to Save Changes and Exit. Load up Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, and you should now be getting higher CPU utilization on your system, even with the RT setting enabled.

Marvel’s Spider-Man is an action-adventure game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for PC on August 12, 2022. If you also own a copy of the PS4 version, here’s how you can transfer your PS4 save file over to the PC version.
