God of War Ragnarok isn’t even available on PC yet, but we already have our first ever mod, and it’s likely to give you nightmares!
Speclizer has shared a video of the first ever mod for God of War Ragnarok, and it involves Kratos going beardless. Needless to say, it’s not a pretty sight. The mod can be seen in full glory in the video below.
This is one mod we’re probably going to pass, though the video also shows a few other options, such as Kratos sporting a mustache. Applying the mod likely requires a devkit or a jailbroken PS4 or PS5, and, therefore, we would advise against attempting to use it.
Previously, we had our first look at God of War Ragnarok’s photo mode, also courtesy of Speclizer. They discovered and unlocked the photo mode in the existing version of the game. As of writing, the feature has officially yet to be available to players, and it is officially set to arrive later in a post-launch update. Based on the screenshot shared by Speclizer, the photo mode includes options to remove Kratos, Atreus, and other character models from view. It also offers the option to alter the individual facial expressions of Kratos, Atreus, and Mimir.
God of War Ragnarok is now available, and those who have just received their physical copies of the game will be prompted to download update 2.0.
