God of War Ragnarok Update 7.0 Brings New Armor Set, Transmog Tweaks, and PC Improvements

by Ali Haider

God of War Ragnarok Update 7.0, released on January 30th, introduces several exciting changes for both PlayStation and PC players. The Transmog system, which allows players to customize their gear’s appearance, no longer requires gear to be fully upgraded to level 9 and is now available from the start of the game. Additionally, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players gain access to the Armor of the Black Bear set without needing a New Game+ save, available via the first Lost Items chest in new or in-progress saves.

PC players also benefit from new features, including optional PlayStation Network sign-in bonuses. By logging into a PlayStation Network account, PC players can unlock the Armor of the Black Bear set and a resource bundle (500 Hacksilver and 250 XP) at the first Lost Items chest in the Realm Between Realms. For those who prefer not to sign in, the armor set remains accessible in New Game+ runs.
