Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is available now as a timed exclusive for the PS4. It doesn’t include any multiplayer but that might change soon.
According to TheGamingRevolution, who has proven time and time again to be a reliable source for leaks related to Activision, Modern Warfare 2 Remastered might lack a multiplayer mode now but this is something that is still being worked on at Activision.

According to his source, Activision is doing a wait and see approach for the Modern Warfare 2 Remastered single-player campaign in order to release the multiplayer.
Activision has announced that they have no plans to release the multiplayer but if the source is correct, their plans are different internally. They are monitoring the reaction to the Modern Warfare 2 Remastered release, which was surprised dropped on PS4 as a timed exclusive. They might launch the multiplayer later and claim that they listened to the community.
Activision has bundled the first Modern Warfare Remastered with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Apparently, they were hoping to get it working in the game itself without offering both games separately but that didn’t appear to have worked judging by the final release.
