Kingdom Hearts III is a 2019 action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch. It is the twelve-game Kingdom Hearts series, and it wraps up the “Dark Seeker Saga” narrative arc that started with the first game. After the events of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Riku, Donald Duck, Goofy, and King Mickey join returning hero Sora in his quest to find the seven guardians of light in an effort to thwart Xehanort’s scheme to start a second Keyblade War. On their journey, they run into characters and travel to settings based on various Disney and Pixar intellectual properties.
