PlayStation Stars members now have the opportunity to use reward points to claim free copies of Helldivers 2 and Rise of the Ronin.
The PlayStation Stars mobile app has been updated with a new lineup of titles members can claim for free using reward points, including the likes of Helldivers 2 and Rise of the Ronin. These games will be available for a limited time, so those who have the required reward points ought to claim them as early as possible.
PlayStation Stars List Of Free Games To Claim
The full list of free PlayStation Stars games that can be claimed via rewards points can be seen below.
- Bloodborne The Old Hunter – 5000 points
- Balatro – 3750 points
- Minecraft – 5000 points
- Helldivers 2 – 10,000 points
- Rise of the Ronin – 17,500 points
- Destiny 2: Lightfall – 12,500 points
- Dredge – 6,250 points
- Stardew Valley – 3,750 points
It is worth mentioning, however, that if you do not have the required number of reward points, you cannot cover the deficit using real money. For example, you’ll either need to have 17,500 points for Rise of the Ronin, or you’ll need to pay $69.99 to purchase the game in its entirety. As such, Sony’s reward program lacks the flexibility that the Nintendo eShop offers with its coin rewards.
Previously, it was reported that the PlayStation Stars program may eventually be integrated into the PS5 system software. The hint came via a Privacy Settings in the PS5 system menu, which can be accessed by heading over to Settings > Users and Accounts > Privacy > View and Customize Your Privacy Settings. There are two new options here under the heading of “PlayStation Stars”.
The PlayStation Stars program allows members to accumulate loyalty points. Points may be exchanged for a variety of items, including PSN wallet funds and select PlayStation Store products. Additionally, PlayStation Plus subscribers who sign up for PlayStation Stars will immediately receive points for any purchases made through the PlayStation Store.
