Game Freak, Omega Force, Nintendo, and The Pokémon Company have released Pokémon Pokopia Update 1.1.0, introducing a wide range of gameplay improvements, new interaction options, and quality-of-life enhancements. The update expands conversation variety between Pokémon, improves Ditto-related mechanics, increases item placement limits, and refines several requests and event systems throughout the game.
In addition to the new features, the update addresses a substantial number of gameplay issues affecting construction, multiplayer, habitats, Pokémon behaviors, requests, Dream Islands, and various progression systems. Several interface improvements and balance adjustments have also been implemented to improve the overall player experience.

New Features and Gameplay Improvements
- Added new conversation variations between Pokémon.
- Added new conversation variations when Pokémon display a “…” speech bubble.
- Adjusted conversation timing and topic distribution for “…” speech bubble interactions.
- Added dialogue options during in-game events that allow players to cancel trades.
- Added the ability to temporarily suspend trades at the Pokémon Center during in-game events.
- Added a multiplayer option allowing players to choose whether to listen to a Pokémon’s request.

Ditto Improvements
- Pokémon accompanying Ditto can now use chairs and beds together when possible.
- Pokémon accompanying Ditto now avoid placement preview areas when placing objects.
- While falling after a transformation expires, pressing Run or Jump returns Ditto to human form and restores controls.
Habitat and Pokémon Behavior Improvements
- Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Glaceon, and Sylveon now sleep at the edge of sofas similarly to Leafeon.
- Pokémon processing materials at community boxes and furnaces now prioritize locations closer to their habitat.
- Players can now select destination floors when moving Pokémon into two-story houses while indoors.
- Adjusted comfort level settings for the waterproof seat and stone fireplace furniture items.
Building and Placement Updates
- Increased the placement limit for electricity-using items from 512 to 1,024.
- Laser sensor placement now displays the sensor detection range.
- Improved descriptions for Pokémon housing requests to make objectives easier to understand.
UI and Quality of Life Improvements
- Environment Level details now display which Pokémon comfort requests were fulfilled that day.
- Added the ability to view flower and hedge color variations from the Collection menu using the X Button.
- Renamed the Pokédex and Habitat Dex Filter menu action from “Filter” to “Confirm.”
- Improved visibility of save progress when saving settings from the main menu.
- Players can now adjust settings while auto-saving is in progress.
Request and Dialogue Improvements
- Updated dialogue for “Place the Ditto flag!” in Withered Wasteland.
- Updated dialogue for the important request “Yawn up a storm!” in Withered Wasteland.
- Updated dialogue for “Flowers in the planter!” in Bleak Beach.
- Updated “Help fix up a home!” in Bleak Beach to better explain habitat construction requirements.
Audio Improvements
- Changed the sound effect used when placing the shutter furniture item.

Pokémon Pokopia is a cozy life and social simulation spin-off game co-developed by Game Freak and Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. Released worldwide on March 5, 2026, the game is available exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2. Update 1.1.0 was released on June 9, 2026.
