Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart has already received PS5 Pro support, but update 1.005.003, released today, appears to be another hotfix.
Insomniac Games continues to fine-tune Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart with its latest Update 1.005.003, focusing on minor stability and performance improvements. This patch builds on the foundation of the 1.005 update, which introduced groundbreaking features for the PlayStation 5 Pro, including new graphics modes such as Performance Pro and Fidelity Pro, alongside advanced ray-tracing toggles.
Earlier updates also addressed issues with localized options, graphical fidelity, and specific visual bugs, such as missing fur wetness during cinematics on Corson V.

Version 1.005.000 (PlayStation 5 Pro Update):
New Graphics Modes:
- Performance Pro (Default for PS5 Pro): Targets 60 FPS with the image quality of Fidelity mode, utilizing PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR). Includes ray-traced reflections, water, and window interiors.
- Fidelity Pro: Targets 30 FPS, allowing players to enable advanced ray-tracing features and higher frame rates when combined with VRR or 120 Hz display modes. Features increased detail in pedestrian traffic and fine hair textures.
New Graphical Toggles:
- Ray-Traced Reflections: Medium (Performance) or High (Fidelity). High enhances reflection animation smoothness.
- Ray-Traced Ambient Occlusion: Off (Performance) / Medium / High (Fidelity). High adds a screen-space GI bounce for advanced ambient lighting.
Miscellaneous Fixes:
- Fixed missing fur wetness in some Corson V cinematics caused by a prior update.
