Resident Evil 3 fans can look forward to a playable demo for the game ahead of its launch and its release date has been reportedly leaked.
Capcom announced last month that they would release a playable demo for Resident Evil 3. This demo was going to be released soon but there was no official date given for its release. This demo will supposedly follow the same format as Resident Evil 2 demo, which was titled as the One-Shot demo giving the players just half-hour and one attempt to play through it.
This upcoming remake builds on the success of Resident Evil 2. It is focused on the events experienced by Jill Valentine who is an ex-member of S.T.A.R.S. She is hunted by a bio-weapon developed by Umbrella which is referred to in-game as Nemesis.
According to the leak, which comes from insider AeshtheticGamer with a track record for leaks related to Capcom, this Resident Evil 3 demo will be available to play on March 20th. This makes it almost two weeks early than the official release date.
To add to this rumor, the face model for Jill Valentine has been teasing major news for fans on her Instagram account. It is possible that Capcom will officially announce a release date for the demo this week.
This upcoming was first revealed at the end of last year. The game was confirmed to launch for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 3, 2020. This release date is just one and a half years apart from Resident Evil 2, which is still continuing to sell well for Capcom.
