The subtitle of Sony Interactive Entertainment and Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding 2 has allegedly been revealed.
The information comes from well-known leaker billbil-kun, who has shared the PS Plus Essential lineup ahead of the official announcement on many occasions. According to their recent discovery, the successor to Death Stranding will be called Death Stranding 2 – On The Beach.
Additionally, billbil-kun shared that they are we are still looking for details on the potential release of a PC version of Death Stranding 2 – On The Beach day and date with PS5. They mentioned that while they have discovered information regarding the arrival of upcoming games published by Sony Interactive Entertainment on PC, they have not yet been able to confirm their identities.
The insider also mentioned that they are 100% sure about a second announcement regarding Death Stranding 2 being imminent. Although they have not been able to determine the date of this announcement, it is likely to occur within the next 15 days based on their estimate.
During a recent episode of Giant Bomb’s BombCast, co-host Jeff Grubb, who is known for his sources within the game industry, had mentioned hearing about PlayStation holding a State of Play presentation in “a few weeks”. It’s likely that this is where the second announcement that billbil-kun is referring to will take place, along with the subtitle reveal for Death Stranding 2.
Death Stranding 2 was officially revealed at The Game Awards 2022. It was also revealed that the characters featured in the game are powered by Unreal Engine 5’s MetaHuman technology. It was stated towards the end of the reveal trailer that the game is powered by Unreal Engine 5’s MetaHuman technology. The feature had previously only been demonstrated on Epic Games’ game engine.
