The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered Will Allegedly Include All Of The Original’s DLC

The rumored remastered version of Microsoft and Bethesda Softworks’ action role-playing game, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, will allegedly include all DLC released for the original.

During the latest episode of the Defining Duke podcast (via Reddit), which is currently behind a paywall on Patreon, co-host Lord Cognito claimed to have it on good authority that all DLC released for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be included in the remastered version. This includes Shivering Isles, Knights of the Nine, and smaller DLC, including Horse Armor, The Orrery, Wizard’s Tower, The Thieves Den, among others.

Given that the original The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was released on March 20, 2006, it makes sense for Bethesda to make all of its DLC available with the remastered version. Lord Cognito has a relatively good track record, so we’re inclined to believe his information is accurate.

Recently, known insider and content creator Nate the Hate had claimed that, as per current plans, Bethesda Softworks is targeting a release and announcement window of April, 2025, for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. He further said that the gap between the reveal and release will be minimal, and that a shadow drop is also possible. Given that the month is nearing its end, we’re likely to get an announcement in the coming week.

Evidence of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered surfaced online following a series of leaks connected to Virtuos, a development studio that has long been rumored to be behind the project. Screenshots and logos referencing the title briefly appeared on the studio’s official website before access was restricted, but not before the images had already been circulated across social media platforms. The leaked material includes environment assets, logo, and interface visuals from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion with updated graphical fidelity.
