WWE superstar Randy Orton has spent more than 600 hours in Bandai Namco Entertainment and FromSoftware’s action role-playing game, Elden Ring.
WWE has been sharing podcasts featuring Cody Rhodes conducting hour-long interviews with various superstars on its YouTube channel. During one such interview with Randy Orton, they talked about John Cena, and the conversation shifted to the latter’s appearance in Mortal Kombat, which led to Orton expressing his enthusiasm for Elden Ring.
Randy Orton discussed how it has been three years since Elden Ring was released. He mentioned that he was out of in-ring action due to spinal fusion surgery, so he had a lot of time on his hands. He said that he has around 600 hours of playtime in Elden Ring, further expressing that he loves the game. He also shared his enthusiasm for the recently released DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree. Cody Rhodes wished he knew more about Elden ring so that he could discuss it more thoroughly with Orton. Orton said that he wished Rhodes were a fellow tarnished.
The aforementioned DLC for Elden Ring, Shadow of the Erdtree, has received universal acclaim from the gaming press, making it the highest rated DLC ever. The title was previously held by CD Projekt’s The Witcher 3 expansion, Blood and Wine. Metacritic and OpenCritic have given FromSoftware’s upcoming DLC a score of 95 and 94, respectively. The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine had received a score of 92 from both aggregator websites. It’s rare for a game’s DLC to receive an aggregate score of 90 based on reviews from the gaming press. The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine’s score of 92 was already a major achievement. Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree has surpassed expectations by achieving a score of 95 and 94 from Metacritic and OpenCritic, respectively. The base game is also among the highest rated titles of all time.
