Sony Interactive Entertainment is set to remove a total of 20 titles from the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalogues by May 20, 2025. These removals include notable PS4 and PS5 titles, VR games for PSVR2, and a few legacy PS3-era titles now accessible through Premium’s Classics lineup. Some of the departing games have previously been available through PS Plus Essential, offering players an opportunity to retain them permanently if they had been redeemed at the time. With several critically acclaimed games on the list, this departure window provides one last chance for subscribers to complete or experience them.
Among the standout removals are Grand Theft Auto V, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, Batman: Arkham Knight, and inFAMOUS: Second Son, the latter of which holds significance as a first-party Sony exclusive. The list also features multiple VR titles, including both chapters of The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, which have been well received on PSVR2. Additionally, legacy titles such as Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2 are leaving the Premium tier, although these do not support trophies in their current form on modern hardware.
