The retail price of the 30th Anniversary PS5 Slim Digital Edition and the 30th Anniversary PS5 DualSense controller have allegedly been leaked.
Dealabs, which is known for leaking game industry announcements ahead of schedule, has managed to get hold of exclusive information regarding the price of the 30th Anniversary PS5 Slim Digital Edition and the 30th Anniversary PS5 DualSense controller. As per them, the limited edition PS5 Slim Digital Edition console bundle will cost 499.99 US Dollars. This factors an additional cost of 50 US Dollars compared to the regular Slim version. They also estimated that the bundle will cost around €519.99 and GBP449.99 in Europe.
As for the DualSense 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Wireless Controller , Dealabs revealed that it will cost 79.99 US Dollars, just like the DualSense Astro Bot Limited Edition. According to Dealabs, the estimated price of the controller in Europe would correspond to approximately €79.99 and GBP69.99.
Dealabs was unable to get pricing information on the 30th Anniversary PS5 Pro Console Bundle, the 30th Anniversary PlayStation Portal Remote Player, and the 30th Anniversary DualSense Edge controller. Fans will, therefore, have to wait until September 26, 2024, for further details. The aforementioned date will also correspond to the opening of pre-orders on PlayStation Direct. The limited edition PS5 Pro pack will be available in very limited quantities.
PlayStation’s 30th Anniversary will be the first occasion for the recently announced PS5 Pro console to receive a limited edition design. Overall, this enables up to 45% faster rendering for gameplay, making the experience much smoother. Lastly, the console features PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, an AI-driven upscaling technique that uses machine learning-based technology to provide sharp image clarity by adding further detail.
