The latest update for Baldur’s Gate 3, version 1.006.800, also known as Hotfix #24, has been released for PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series S|X. This update brings improvements to stability and performance. The hotfix addresses various bugs and performance issues to enhance the gaming experience for players.

One notable fix in this update resolves an issue where players were unable to take a Short Rest after adding and then dismissing Us with a companion party member and loading certain savegames. Additionally, Mac players will no longer experience performance and FPS drops caused by a previous hotfix, ensuring smoother gameplay on the platform.

Players are encouraged to uninstall all mods and check for persisting issues after installing the hotfix.

Baldur’s Gate 3 gives players an immersive role-playing game experience. It’s set in the Forgotten Realms, mixing friendship and betrayal, sacrifice, and survival. Players wake up with mysterious powers caused by a mind flayer parasite. They have to choose whether to fight against it or embrace its influence.

Made by the same people who created Divinity: Original Sin 2, the game has lots of new RPG features. These include different character types and races from the D&D Player’s Handbook.

Players can make their own character or play as a ready-made hero, diving into the struggles of inner corruption called the Dark Urge. The game tells a gripping story in a richly detailed world full of risks and lies. What players decide affects the journey and shapes their story. Powered by the new Divinity 4.0 engine, the game lets players roam freely, interact, and try new things in a lively world.
