Demon’s Souls is a launch game for the PS5. It is one of the PS5 launch exclusives that is not coming to PS4. Here are some details for this launch game.
The original Demon’s Souls was developed by From Software. It was released in the West by Sega America and had a file size of 7.96 GB. The remake is several times larger than the original, which is not a big surprise. According to the official PlayStation Store, the minimum required file size for Demon’s Souls is 66 GB.

The other new information regarding the game also comes from the PlayStation Store. The store listing confirms the game offers up to 2-6 network players. This was capped to 4 players for the original game so this is also an upgrade.
Demon’s Souls is being developed by Bluepoint Games in collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan. Sony owns the Demon’s Souls IP while From Software originally worked on it, they have since shifted to the multiplatform Dark Souls. This remake will be released exclusively for the PS5 and launch on November 12. Any confusion over its exclusivity or PC launch was clarified by Sony as a mistake.
Another confirmation is regarding PS Plus. The game is confirmed to require PS Plus to support the online multiplayer. While it is not new information as it was expected, it is better to know in case someone gets a brand new PS5 at launch and has no PS Plus subscription.
