Final Fantasy VII Remake Keyart Visual Highlights Main Characters

Final Fantasy VII Remake has received a brand new keyart visual from Square Enix focusing on the main characters who will be playable in the game.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is out on April 10. It was originally set to launch on March 3 but the game was delayed a little over a month to April. It is now scheduled to launch later in April and will be released for PS4. It is also confirmed to be a timed exclusive and will supposedly release on other platforms after the PS4 version is out.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is an episodic release and will feature multiple parts. The story is expanded from the original release and offers a lot more content in addition to new characters. Several gameplay tweaks have also been made to the game like switching from a turn-based to an action combat system.

The first part of Final Fantasy 7 Remake reportedly ends when the main party leaves Midgar. Series producer Yoshinori Kitase had stated in an earlier interview that each part of the game will be equal in length to a mainline Final Fantasy so it is estimated to be more than 20 hours long.

In the original Final Fantasy VII, the section that stretched from Midgar until the end when the party leaves were just a few hours long but with the new content, it has been expanded significantly. Square Enix has also recently revealed the theme song from the game and confirmed its composers.
