Square Enix has released Version 1.03 for Final Fantasy XVI on PC, addressing key graphical and textual issues. This update follows prior improvements aimed at enhancing game stability and performance. While the patch is relatively minor, it continues to refine the overall experience ahead of the game’s full launch on PC.

Recent rumors suggest that Final Fantasy XVI could arrive on Xbox Series X|S in Spring 2025. The information comes from ResetEra insider Nate the Hate (NateDrake), who indicated that the game’s Xbox release is planned but may not happen immediately.

Additionally, it is rumored that Final Fantasy VII Remake will launch on Xbox later in 2025, while Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is expected to release on Xbox consoles in 2026. According to Nate, all three titles might be announced together for maximum marketing impact, though the official announcement timing remains uncertain.

Final Fantasy XVI is an action RPG developed and published by Square Enix. It launched exclusively on PlayStation 5 in June 2023, with a PC version released later. The game takes place in Valisthea, a world divided among warring nations, each harnessing the power of massive Eikons.
