In addition, the leaked achievements/trophies list for Gotham Knights reveals that the downloadable content will include new supercharged criminals, most wanted enemies, and the KELVIN Incident. The list appears to be legitimate, and, as such, an announcement in this regard is expected to happen sometime soon.

Previously, it was reported that the next entry in the DC universe from WB Games Montreal, the developer behind Gotham Knights, will be a single-player game, and will be developed in Unreal Engine 5. According to a recent job listing for a lead gameplay programmer, the Gotham Knights developer is looking to expand the DC Comics universe into the interactive space with a brand new game that appears to be developed in Unreal Engine 5.

The fresh recruit will be responsible for managing a group of programmers to develop, maintaining and optimizing multi-platform systems and tools affecting, among other things, gameplay, graphics, animation, physics , network and other basic systems. It will be their responsibility to establish work priorities, develop plans and assist production in planning and assigning tasks to team members. They will work closely with content directors, game and level design teams, artists and production to develop systems, deliverable timelines and technical design documentation.

Among the list of required knowledge and skills, it is stated that knowledge of the Unreal Engine 4 and 5 game engine is a plus for the candidate. This listing is corroborated by the LinkedIn profile of senior producer at WB Games Montreal Inc., Bryan Theberge, in which it is stated that the studio behind Gotham Knights has officially started production on its next game, and that it is also set in the DC universe.
