The game offers an ambitious world where players will be given the choice to take part in a magical journey through a wonderful world. It was originally supposed to launch in 2021 but the release date was pushed back to 2022 to polish the game.

In the official blog post, the developers shared the following statement. “Since we first revealed Hogwarts Legacy, the trailer has been viewed over 28 million times on the PlayStation YouTube channel. We promised to share more this year, and we’re finally ready to deliver on that promise, ” reads the post.

“The show will run for about 20 minutes, featuring over 14 minutes of Hogwarts Legacy gameplay captured on PS5, and concluding with some insight from a few members of the team at Avalanche Software who are bringing the Wizarding World to life.”

If you want to check it out, you can have a look at the Hogwarts Legacy State of Play on Twitch or YouTube at 2 PM PT.

The game will launch for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC. It currently doesn’t have an official release date but rumors are suggesting it might launch in September this year, so we might get an announcement during the State of Play this March.
