Kirby and the Forgotten Land has been rated by ESRB despite the game launching in 2022. It will be released for the Nintendo Switch.
ESRB usually rates a game closer to its official release date, but this time, it appears that Kirby is ahead by a fair margin. It is set to launch in Spring 2022 and doesn’t have a concrete release so far, but based on this new rating, we might be closer to one.
ESRB description also talks about some of the enemies and abilities that Kirby can use in the game. They have given the game Everyone rating for Cartoon Violence. After all, Kirby is a cute creature that can gobble up anyone and claim its abilities as its own.
This is an action-adventure game in which players help Kirby save kidnapped creatures from evil forces. Players traverse 3D platforms while collecting coins, solving puzzles, and using Kirby’s abilities to battle cartoony enemies (e.g., mushrooms, foxes, giant turtles). Players use swords, bombs, and blaster-type pistols to defeat enemies; some weapons allow players to use targeting/crosshairs for ranged firing. Boss battles can be frenetic, with laser fire, explosions, and projectiles flying at Kirby, often from a close-up perspective.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land will be released in Spring 2022 for the Nintendo Switch.
