Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has been available on Xbox Game Pass since launch day. As a result of the game’s success on Microsoft’s premium subscription service, the publisher now appears to be considering bringing more of its titles to such services.

It is an action-role playing video game developed by Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo. The game is currently slated for release in early 2023 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Players can create their own player avatars and select one of five “phases” at the start of the game. There are two choices for close-range attacks in the game.

Players must use their melee weapons to deflect attacks in order to succeed in battle because doing so will allow them to counter an opponent’s attacks. The “Morale rank” of each foe identifies how difficult the combat encounter will be. More valuable loot is dropped by more challenging enemies.

More valuable loot is dropped by more challenging enemies. The players’ spirit gauge gradually fills up as they make close-ranged attacks. Players can also trigger “spirit attacks,” which give them the ability to use unique combat maneuvers or cast elemental spells. A total of five “Divine Beasts”—the Qilin, Baihu, Qinglong, Zhuque, and Xuanwu—are available for players to choose from. These beasts can aid players in battle or grant them passive advantages through “Divine Beast Resonance.”

The recent update 1.04 for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty brought a host of bug fixes and improvements, including the automatic restocking of arrows, projectiles, and consumable items from the storehouse upon accessing a Battle Flag.
