Brand new leaks for Sony Interactive Entertainment and Insomniac Games’ upcoming web-swinging adventure, Marvel’s Spider-man 2, have revealed the game’s length, and new details regarding the time it takes to achieve the Platinum trophy are also available.
It turns out that Sony Interactive Entertainment had sent out review copies of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 well ahead of its release on October 20, 2023, resulting in some influencers and people from the press already having obtained the Platinum trophy.
Multiple individuals with an early review copy of Marvel’s Spider-man 2 have already beaten the main story, revealing its length to be a little over 15 hours, while it appears that the Platinum trophy can be achieved in less than 30 hours. This is essentially around twice the amount of time it takes to complete the main story. According to one of the individuals who has obtained the Platinum trophy, there isn’t much else to do in the game once players have unlocked the aforementioned trophy.
Previously, PlayStation trophies for Spider-Man 2 had been revealed ahead of the game’s release later this montth. There are a total of 40 trophies for trophy hunters to acquire in the game, of which there are 2 Gold, 17 Silver and 22 Bronze trophies. A total of 10 trophies appear to be story-related, followed by a series of combat related trophies that require the utilization of specific abilities. In addition, the list reveals some new side activities, such as Symbiote Nest missions, and collectibles, such as Tech Parts.
It has also been revealed that the review embargo for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is expected to be lifted on Monday, October 16, 2023, 10:00 AM EDT, four days ahead of the game’s release on October 20, 2023. Fans can, therefore, look forward to hearing what critics have to say about the latest chapter in Peter Parker and Miles Morales’ story.
