Modern Warfare 4 November 2 Update Reduces DMZ UAV Towers and Fixes Exploits

by Ali Haider

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 has received a new update on November 2, bringing several fixes and gameplay adjustments across Multiplayer and DMZ. The biggest changes affect DMZ, where UAV Tower spawns have been reduced by 40%, the Sedative Inhaler’s duration has been doubled, and the Truce Flag cooldown has been shortened. These adjustments should make it easier for players to avoid detection and manage encounters with other squads.

Multiplayer also receives adjustments to Shipment’s spawn logic, fixes for out-of-bounds exploits on Sentry and Mumbai, and improvements to HUD visibility. The update restores the intended dive movement velocity, temporarily disables the JOKR Launcher’s Infrared mode to address an exploit, and fixes several stability issues. Activision has also confirmed that Season 1 patch notes will arrive later this week ahead of the November 5 launch.
