According to the console maker, this special issue offers a comprehensive guide that introduces the features of the Nintendo Switch 2, its newly added functionality, and its lineup of new software, bringing together recommended content for those considering purchasing the upcoming console .The magazine is packed with content, with a total of 80 pages, and each featured page includes links to official websites and videos related to the content introduced. Those interested are asked to grab their copy and check out the pages that interest them. The digital magazine can be viewed immediately on a smartphone or PC.

It was recently revealed by Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa that around 2.2 million individuals in Japan have registered for a Switch 2 through the My Nintendo store. He mentioned that in order to deliver the upcoming console to buyers, the company has procured many materials and proceeded with production in advance. However, Furukawa further stated that 2.2 million registrations far exceed Nintendo’s expectations and far exceeds the number of Switch 2 consoles that can be delivered from the My Nintendo Store in Japan at launch on June 5, 2025. Therefore, he said that a considerable number of customers will not be chosen for the chance to purchase the Nintendo Switch 2. The Nintendo president also mentioned that, in order to avoid the trouble of re-applying for those who were not selected in the first lottery, the My Nintendo Store will automatically carry over those who were not selected the first time to the second lottery.
