No Man’s Sky Update 2.13: What’s New and What Are Patch Notes

No Man’s Sky update 2.13 was released today by Hello Games. This is a part of the free Beyond expansion which launched earlier in August.

Beyond is a massive expansion for No Man’s Sky that was released free of cost to all users on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It added free virtual reality support for PSVR and PCVR. The multiplayer portion of the game was expanded from its initial form to a 16 player multiplayer. There were many more important changes made in this update as detailed here.

After the release of Beyond expansion, Hello Games was quick to focus on the numerous bugs that were discovered after the public launch of the new update. As a result, they have released multiple patches for the game so far.

The latest patch for No Man’s Sky will update the game to version 2.13. The official patch notes have been revealed by Hello Games. These were already included in the experimental branch of the PC version that was available earlier today.

The patch notes are massive but just having a glance at them, there have been numerous bug fixes included in them. The fixes apply to both PC and consoles users. If you were facing any issue with the game, it is best to check these patch notes and hopefully, the issue should be resolved.

No Man’s Sky was first released as a console exclusive for PS4 in addition to the PC. It was ported to the Xbox One last year with the Next update and Hello Games has now followed it up with another massive patch this year with the Beyond content update. They are continuing to fix any issues with the game with these post-launch updates.
