Trailers for both Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica have been leaked on Atlus’ Instagram account, revealing that both games are headed to Xbox Game Pass.
Atlus’ Instagram account appears to have posted trailers for both games a few days ahead of their official announcement. Based on the revealed footage, Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica are scheduled to arrive on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows PC in early 2024, and they will also be available day one on Xbox Game Pass!
The omission of PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch versions among the listed platforms is likely due to the trailers being meant for the Xbox Showcase, which is scheduled to happen on June 11, 2023. That said, there may well be some sort of timed console exclusivity in place.
Previously, Reset Era member Im A Hero Too, who has shared details regarding the development of Persona titles in the past, had stated that the next couple years will be “heavy” on Persona titles, so much that he was “sick” of hearing about the series. Besides the Persona 3 remake and Persona 6, he also mentioned another entry in the series that is set for release in the year 2024. He said that he’s shocked that no one had leaked it yet. He refrained from providing any further details, though he hinted that it would be a Persona 5 spinoff featuring Akechi in the main role. He may not have been referring to Persona 5 Tactica.
The last Persona 5 spin-off, Persona 5 Strikers, is an action role-playing game developed by Omega Force and P-Studio and published by Atlus. It brings together Koei Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors franchise and Atlus’ Persona series in a crossover adventure. The game’s story takes place six months after the events of Persona 5 (2016) and follows Joker and the Phantom Thieves of Hearts as they delve into a series of mysterious incidents affecting people all over Japan.
