Persona 6 has received an official classification in Australia, marking another milestone for Atlus’ upcoming role-playing game.

According to the Australian Classification Board, Persona 6 was classified on June 8, 2026. The game received an M rating, with consumer advice citing “Violence, Nudity, Coarse Language.”

The listing appears under the Computer Game – IARC Global Rating Tool category and identifies Sega of America, Inc. as the production company. The classification number is CLAS-1344351.

While the entry does not reveal any new gameplay details or a release date, ratings board filings are often among the final regulatory steps before a game’s launch or marketing campaign progresses further.

Persona 6 was formally announced in June 2026 and is currently in development at P-Studio, with Sega serving as publisher. The game is planned for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows, making it the first mainline Persona title to launch across multiple platforms simultaneously.

The upcoming entry will feature a new cast of characters and a standalone story while retaining the series’ signature mix of social simulation, relationship building, and turn-based combat.

Atlus has yet to announce a final release date for Persona 6, but the newly issued Australian classification suggests preparations for the game’s release continue to move forward.
