SEGA has joined forces with international pop icon Pitbull to rejuvenate its acclaimed rhythm series, Samba de Amigo. The partnership will be highlighted in two upcoming games: Samba de Amigo: Party Central for Nintendo Switch and Samba de Amigo for Meta Quest.
Globally known as ‘Mr. Worldwide’, Pitbull will be a featured artist in the series, enabling players to groove to his chart-topping hits. Among the tracks to be included are the popular “Shake Senora (featuring T-Pain and Sean Paul)”, a new song “Let’s Take a Shot” from Pitbull’s upcoming album, Trackhouse, and the previously announced hit, “Celebrate (From The Original Motion Picture ‘Penguins of Madagascar’)”. These tracks will be available as part of a free Day 1 update for all players with an online connection.
Samba de Amigo: Party Central is scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch on August 29, 2023, while the Meta Quest version is set for release on Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest Pro in the fall, followed by a later release on Meta Quest 3. Pre-orders for both games are now open on the official website.
Promising a dynamic rhythm action experience with intuitive controls, the games are designed to be enjoyable for players of all skill levels.
