The PS Plus Essential lineup for the month of December, 2024, has been revealed, and it features EA and Hazelight Studios’ action adventure game, It Takes Two, and more.
The PlayStation Blog has officially announced the lineup of monthly and classic titles that are set to be available to PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium subscribers in the month of December. The games will be available for download starting Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
PS Plus Essential December 2024 Lineup
The monthly games that are available for Essential, Extra, and Premium tier subscribers in the month of December, 2024 are as follows:
- It Takes Two | PS4, PS5
- Aliens: Dark Descent | PS4, PS5
- Temtem | PS5
The latest additions to PS Plus Essential will be available to subscribers starting from Tuesday, December 5, 2024, up until Monday, January 6, 2024. PlayStation Plus members have until Monday, December 2, 2024 to add the November, 2024, lineup i.e. Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged (PS4, PS5), Ghostwire: Tokyo (PS5), and Death Note Killer Within (PS4, PS5).

Prominently featured in the PS Plus Essential lineup for December, 2024, is It Takes Two, a cooperative action-adventure game developed by Hazelight Studios and published by Electronic Arts. It was released in March, 2021 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, and later for Nintendo Switch in November, 2022. Similar to Hazelight’s first game, A Way Out, It Takes Two does not support a single-player mode. It is exclusively playable in split-screen cooperative multiplayer, either locally or online, requiring two players to work together. The story focuses on a couple who are turned into living dolls and must navigate their way back to their normal forms while addressing challenges in their relationship. The game blends action-adventure with platforming elements and is specifically designed around cooperative gameplay.
