PS Plus Essential March 2024 Games Lineup

  • Sifu (PS4, PS5)

This appears to be the standard edition of Sifu so it won’t have any post-lunch DLC or extra content that was available for the game.

Sifu is set in modern-day China. The game’s story revolves around a martial artist’s child who embarks on a journey to avenge the death of their father. One of the unique features of the game is that each time the main character dies, they are resurrected but grow older due to a magic talisman. As the main character ages, they become more powerful but have less health. If the character reaches old age, they can die permanently, and players must replay the level from the beginning, maintaining the age they were when they first played.

The game was initially released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC in February 2022. Later, it was launched for the Nintendo Switch in November 2022 and for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S in March 2023. As of February 2024, the game had sold more than 3 million copies.

The complete lineup for PS Plus Essential in March 2024 will be announced in the coming days. The identity of the two remaining games remains a secret for now, but just in case you were going to buy Sifu, you can avoid buying it if you have a PS Plus subscription.
