Resident Evil 3 PC Minimum System Requirements Are Here

Capcom has shared the minimum system requirements for Resident Evil 3 Remake on PC. Here’s what you should keep in mind for the PC launch.

Resident Evil 3 Remake was just confirmed by Capcom during a State of Play event held by Sony. This remake was first leaked through the official PlayStation Store and it was later confirmed to be an official announcement.

Capcom has also shared a release date for this upcoming Resident Evil game and it is out soon, on April 3, 2020. It will launch for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Capcom has also made the game available for pre-order on the official Steam store where the minimum system requirements are listed for it.

According to Capcom, here are the minimum system requirements for the game. These are likely not final and will be updated once the game gets closer to its launch.

Resident Evil 3 System Requirements

MINIMUM:

    • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
    • OS: WINDOWS® 7, 8.1, 10 (64-BIT Required)
    • Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-4460 or AMD FX™-6300 or better
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM
    • Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 760 or AMD Radeon™ R7 260x with 2GB Video RAM
    • DirectX: Version 11

Currently, there are no recommended system requirements available for the game. Capcom usually updates them when it is close to the release date. Since the game is still in development, the requirements can change anytime. Capcom is releasing is soon with just four months from its launch to release date.

Capcom has also updated Resident Evil 2 to link it with the upcoming remake. Since the stories in both games run in parallel with some events linking them together, Capcom has used it cleverly to tease the upcoming remake.
