Resident Evil 4 Remake players are complaining about the flickering lights issues on the PS5, and there is an official temporary fix for it until a patch arrives.

If you are playing the game on a PS5 and experiencing the flickering lights issue, then there are some steps that can be followed to solve it. Capcom has also shared them on its official social media account.

How To Fix Flickering Lights Issue In Resident Evil 4 Remake

  • If you’re experiencing this issue, please try saving and restarting your game.
  • If the problem persists, try changing one of the following settings in the game’s Options menu.
    • Set “Depth of Field” in the Display tab to off.
    • Set “Motion Blur” in the Camera tab to on.

Capcom has also recently confirmed that a free DLC that will add Mercenaries mode will arrive for the game on April 7. This will be released as part of a free update that might also bring other bug fixes for the game.

Resident Evil 4 Remake appears to have cut some content including Separate Ways, which featured Ada Wong in the lead role. This will be released later as a post-launch DLC according to a rumor. It will be expanded to offer more content as well. Capcom hasn’t officially confirmed this news so we will have to wait and see when it happens.
