Sony Interactive Entertainment is sending out free PS Plus Premium codes to eligible PSN users, according to the latest information.
Reddit user BusNo1748 has shared that they received a free 14-day PS Plus Premium code on via PSN notifications on their PS5 console. They also mentioned that they received the notification right after their prior PS Plus subscription expired, though they redeemed it two days later.
This offer appears to be tied to the expiration of existing PS Plus subscription plans, so existing subscribers should not expect to see in in their PSN notifications. Though, those who have had their subscription lapse ought to go through their notifications for the possibility of being chosen for this free offer. Those who have yet to subscribe to PS Plus may also find a 14-day trial in their PSN notifications. The idea is likely to give new users a taste of what the three PS Plus subscription tiers have to offer and give returning users and incentive to continue subscribing.
A 14-day PS Plus Premium subscription will grant you access to a large catalog of PS4 and PS5 titles. The most recent additions to PS Plus Extra and Premium include Monster Hunter Rise, Football Manager 2024, Crusader Kings III, Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 6, After Us, Anno 1800, Police Simulator: Patrol Officers, Far Cry 4, and LEGO The Hobbit, LEGO The Incredibles, Kayak VR: Mirage, LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, and Ghosthunter.
