Bandai Namco has announced today that Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition has sold more than 1 million copies across PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition was released for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch back in January 2019. It has managed to do really well for a remaster with the lifetime sales of the game eclipsing more than 1 million copies sold.
Bandai Namco has made this announcement ahead of the Tales of Festival that is expected to reveal more information on the Tales of series including the upcoming Tales of Arise.
To celebrate this announcement, the developers are offering a sale on the Definitive Edition for PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The game will be available in a sale from February 17 until March 3, 2021.
Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition didn’t really add anything new in terms of content but it brought back the previously PS3 exclusive version of the game, which itself was based on the original Xbox 360 exclusive version. There was new content in the PS3 version that was exclusive to Japan and thus it was the first time this new content was localized and released in the Western market.
