The Tekken World Tour 2024 concluded today, and Bandai Namco shared new details on the upcoming content for Tekken 8, including a teaser for a Season 2 character.
In a new trailer showcasing all the upcoming content for Tekken 8’s Season 2, the developers outlined what they plan to bring to the game. This includes updates to adjust game balance and introduce new moves for characters. They are also expanding the photo mode to offer a wider variety of customization options.
Fans who love customizing their characters will benefit from the addition of more customization slots. Bandai Namco also teased the return of a major character from the Tekken franchise, likely part of the Season 2 character pass for Tekken 8.
During the trailer, a helicopter with a red lipstick mark can be seen, a trademark of Anna Williams, sister of Nina Williams. It’s possible she will be one of the DLC fighters in Season 2.
The final DLC fighter for Season 1 is planned to be revealed during The Game Awards 2024, marking the end of Season 1 for Tekken 8. This will be followed by a new character pass for Season 2 and a slew of new content and updates.
The Tekken World Tour will continue in 2025, promising exciting new battles worldwide with its major and challenger events. Details on the Tekken World Tour will be shared later.
